...farewell.

As predicted this blogger just lost interest. It is time to put the Deuteronomic Dreamer into the ground (Although not the real Deuteronomic Dream, because that's just way too good and will one day make me a lot of money). So ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

'Living the Resurrection'

I can't believe that I'm blogging twice in one week. I've just bought the new Eugene Peterson book, 'Living the Resurrection', which I should say is so far fantanstic and worth the read. But this statement that I read on the bus this morning blow me away.
"Given the imortance that we in our society give to celebrity endorsments, that's more than a little disconcerting. The men and women who are going to be most valuable to s in our spiritual formation-resurrection are most likely going to be people a the edge of respectability: the poor, minorities, the suffering the rejected, poets and children."

Edgehill photo: Take 1

Just when you all though that I was finally maturing!

20 mins till lunch!

I hope that this isn't going to be the way in which I fill up my free time in Edgehill. It might be a better idea than the table tennis since I've lost my place at the top of the ladder (Congrats. to Jools, who knocked be off and has successfully defended his place during Edgehill coffee time).

I've just handed in my first assignment of the semester and I have to say it was the worst and most soul destroying assignment EVER! I had to evaluate the theology of Walter Brueggemann. Now the dawn has come and this morning I started my latest assignment based on Romans. Pretty good stuff. Although it needs to be in by next week, so there will be a lot of hard work done inbetween now and then.

Over the past few months I've really been getting excited by Paul. This came about by the bad press I've heard him get. Really, you'd think people around theological colleges would know better.
